Fabergé Museum officially opened on November 19, 2013, at the Shuvalov Palace in St. Petersburg. Fabergé Museum is the first privately-owned museum in Russia of federal importance, and contains a world-class art collection.
The Museum's opening was a glorious event for Russian culture and made possible thanks to extensive preparatory work and enormous financial investment. The pieces in Fabergé Museum were collected over the course of 10 years. Today, this collection of Russian decorative and fine arts from the 19th-20th centuries contains more than 4,000 items, and in the unanimous opinion of art connoisseurs, is one of the best of its kind. The heart of the collection is made up of unique works by the great Russian jeweler Carl Fabergé. The repatriation of these works indicates a revival in the tradition of Russian patronage of the arts.
No less painstaking was the complete restoration of the Shuvalov Palace. This process of transforming the palace into a modern museum took 7 years to complete.
Today, the newly restored halls of the Shuvalov Palace enchant the residents and guests of St. Petersburg, while the modern equipment offers visitors a one-of-a-kind museum experience. I should also emphasize that all the work on establishing the Fabergé Museum was done without public funding.

In the future, Fabergé Museum plans to hold temporary exhibitions to introduce visitors to masterpieces from around the world, show its own collection in the world’s leading museums, publish catalogs and monographs on Russian art, host scientific conferences, establish an educational center for children and adults, and much more.

Contributions may be made according to one of four partnership categories. As a sign of gratitude, we award our partners with benefits according to their category level. Additionally, the Museum offers free advertising for our partners at all events and on all print and virutal publications that were organized with the help of their funding.
Donations are made annually to the Museum in one lump sum. The Museum guarantees the provision of financial reporting on the expenditure of donated funds to its partners.
