The two glasses, encased in a gilded frame with red and black transparent guilloche enamel, were made in Mikhail Perkhin’s workshop in 1900. The stripes on the frame feature intersecting incused strings crowned with two-headed eagles. The commemorative inscription along the brim recounts how Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna drank from these glasses to the health of the regiment under the latter’s patronage on 9 June 1900.
