Program description:
In the early 20th century, a person’s appearance, bearing and clothes said no less about them than a personal page on social networks today. Jewellery items, accessories and gifts played an important role in how people made an impression on others in high society. On this tour, the young visitors will find out why it was impossible to go about one's daily life without a stamp box, toiletry box and bomboniere, what rules existed for decorations and accessories and how the role that these little things play in our lives has changed over the last century.
At the end of the tour, the kids will take part in a master class, where they'll each make their own marvelous creation on the Fabergé style.
An up-to-date schedule of the master classes is available at the Museum's ticket office on the day. The rules for attending Fabergé Museum's programs for children can be found here.
