Program description:
This tour introduces the traditions of jewellery design in Russia in the 19th and early 20th centuries. A guide will lead the kids on a journey through the halls of Fabergé Museum, where they will find out what materials the artisans used and what they created, as well as how Carl Fabergé was able to transform his small workshop into a jewellery company famous the world over. Many of the things created by his artisans belonged to the Tsar’s family and are linked to some of the most important events in Russian history.
